When comparing the capabilities of tablet and laptop vs price the tablets are grossly over priced. I not sure what this person does for a living but there is very little in the way of serious work that can be done on a tablet. Unless you're only responding to email and viewing pie charts. Any heavy lifting will still be done by mid-grade desktop or high-end laptop.
For what most people use their tablets for I use my smartphone. Imho tablets will have a short life span after a few years the wow factor will wear off and the cool points will be out the window. We will see smart phones dominate, as the gap between laptops and smart phones grows smaller..
