Really think you wasted my time on this one. Companies care about content, geeks care about features, but users care about the experience.
When picking something yourself you want reliable, repeatable, rapid responses to your current needs. That is why Apple is winning with consumers.
Companies will in the end choose the tablet that gives them the best control of their content.
Geeks will choose the ones that allows them to say mines fastest, has the most feature, or looks really cool no matter how reliable it is.

... for myself. I want the most open ended system as I can't possibly know what I may want to do with it tomorrow.
This as always been the way I choose systems. Buying that which only meets today's needs is pretty short sited. I certainly don't have the money to be replacing machines every time I find something new to do with my computer.

"content" now include applications? Another catch all word whose meaning is now so general as to make it useless. Great!
It wasn't too long ago when you took a tablet to ease some ache or pain. Now it seems that tablets are causing them. There's certainly a lot of controversy to be heard or read about them.
If I want to connect with people I go and see them or ring them (maybe Skype them or even email them if they're far away). If I want to read a book, I read a book, and not an electronic one. If I want to search out some fact or buy a particular device I browse the internet on my laptop or for facts alone I visit the local library.
I for one don't want to carry around anything other than my mobile and occasionally my laptop. I just don't see why people need tablets. In my opinion tablets are for sick people - get better and get a life.... sic

doesn't mean they aren't useful to others. Frankly, they don't fit my needs either. However, having needs or wants different from ours doesn't make others sick or mean they don't have a life.
