I have a problem with my boss's laptop where it randomly stops the print spooler with a message box saying 'Windows experienced a problem with the print spooler and stopped the service.' No other indication or message given. Laptop is a Dell Vostro 1700 running Vista Business SP2 and all his available printers are accessed through our wireless network. It has happened mainly while his PC was booting up and never while actually printing anything. I have manually restarted the spooler service and it takes off and runs for the rest of the day. I tried this fix and it is applicable to both Vista Home and Vista Business editions.
