I run Splashtop Remote on my Kindle Fire, it works great. $210, including the STR app and tablet. Splashtop also makes an app for the ipad that turns the ipad into a whiteboard similar to the Smartboard or other interactive systems. The software for the PC is free, you just pay for the app, so that one tablet could log into many different computers for just the cost of the app.
