I used autoLISP with Autocad about 18 years ago. I just remember parenthesis hell, until I found a color coded editor. I forget all the reasons I used it, but I worked with in the Electrical department at an engineering firm procuding the electrical floor plans. LISP allowed me to automate a lot of the drawing processes within Autocad.
