Employers need to engage more with students in high schools and universities, and the schools themselves. Before this whole nanny state thing, employers would work with schools, even to the point of donating equipment, so the students would learn to enjoy the work.
Now, it seems the schools and universities are left on their own to get the money from government budgets.
Then the employers complain there is no one to hire and pretend a need to hire from or relocate to overseas.
