When I work at any place I'm employed to do the job I was employed to do and that related to IT not applying Phyiscatric Treatment to staff working there particularly those who tell me what to do. Not to mention that I'm not qualified to treat their personality disorders anyway to begin with and would probably make their Philological Problems worse rather than better or even slightly improved.

I don't think so so why would anyone mess with someone???s brain to make a hoped for improvement in their Work Place?
Understand the power of positive reinforcement: If you think you get too little recognition or positive reinforcement for what you do at work, you can be assured that your boss gets evens less.
This is only because after a long time the Problem Bos has brought this on themselves and any attempt to introduce Positive Reinforcement without Qualified Therapy is a recipe for disaster. Of course the Shrinks will make lots of money attempting to fix the situation and the person offering the Positive Reinforcement is likely to be the one who is taken to Court for causing the current situation which has worsened the lot of everyone concerned.
Say ???Thank You??? to your boss: Thanking your boss for something that was helpful to you in some way is always appreciated. Bosses always hear what people don???t like; it???s rare that they hear about things they do that people actually like.
This may work but then again you are just as likely to be considered as a Brown Noser or Yes Person and treated accordingly.
Tell your boss what???s going on. Keep the boss informed about things that ARE going well. Give them a reason to celebrate what is working.
Brown Noser all the way with this one and we all know where that leads when the project whatever it is fails which it's bound to. Well I was told by So & So that things where going well and every time they saw me that couldn't tell me fast enough just how good things are.
Help your boss be successful. Respond positively to decisions set forth by your boss and help others on your team support your boss???s initiatives. Any time you help your boss be successful, his or her behavior will likely improve.
Pardon my ingorance here but isn't that what all staff should be doing regardless? It's however one thing to try to help your Boss to be sucessful but it's entirelly another thing to make the wrong decission succeed in the long term. Sure Short Term the Money will look good but you can only sell all f the companies assets once and then costs will continue with no improvment to the bottom line.
Really the best thing anyone can do in a Toxic Work Enviroment is Walk Away Personally I would say Sprint Away as fast as your legs can carry you.
It's your reputation that gets the bad name attempting to live in a Toxic Work Enviroment. The opersisition know what their Opisition is like and will accept that anyone who works there for any length of time is either Desperate and hence can be employed for a lot less or are only going to tell you what you want to hear and are useless and should never be offered any position unless it's to keep the CEO Happy and away from the real work.
