What do you use as your Gmail app on Apple iOS devices?
I don't bother doing Gmail on my iOS device anymore. My iPod Touch is a toy for gaming and music exclusively now. I do all my real work on my Android phone.
you Show Positive side but there is so many Negative point against Gmail App for iPhone & iPad.
i will write some here:
1. No Notification other than Sound.
2. Its not Great app its just using web interface in app. there is no creativity in this app.
3. Company Like Google can lot better than this app.
4. No support for Multiple accounts.
5. Speed is slower then Native Mail app.
there are so many.........

Totally unnecessary, Mail on the iPhone is perfect if you set it up as an Exchange account so it uses active sync, even better if you use Google Apps for business and the 'Continue Search on Server' now works almost instantly and flawlessly.
Why? As John said - totally unnecessary. Mail works flawlessly with all the common mail feeds - including exchange and gmail.
