You should not expect Adroid for Pc to be powerful, google just wants more and more source of revenues and that is why they made Chrome book - a totally dumb machine for technically inept people who would simply spend their whole day clicking on Google ads.

Making android for Pc to be a powerful platform would be totally contradicting what they stand for.
Funny even windows 8 seems to be following this line of thought, dumb useless apps that simply want to make you jump online and lick ads
