I agree. I just wish that those doing the hiring understood the difference between the tool and the methodology.
The other part that comes up is how few businesses are willing to train without really understanding that it takes time for people to even acclimatize (read LEARN) to the business itself and how things get done.
I think a lot of businesses delude themselves into thinking that anyone off the street can magically insert themselves int a new job like interchangeable parts. Studies have shown that it is typically at least one month and that hiring a new person costs about $10,000.
