If you buy a mac /dell/hp, etc there all using core series processors, and proabley very similar motherboards, is basically the guts of the systems are the same, Its really now just a difference between what OS you run on the box. (any how much you want to pay , and the "look" of the box.

so for me, i dont care if its a mac, i may not run mac OS on it, but ill make use of it.
