Hello folks I'm at my wits end on this i have tried several different method of installing windows xp on a new hard drive for a Coby Netbook and after 3 days of different tries I'm stuck does anyone know a secret about these netbooks and how to install windows on them.
Netbook info: Coby MODEL NO: NBPC1023XPPNK

Error messages and a description would be good.
If the copy of XP you have didn't come with this netbook, or isn't a retail copy, it likely will not install at all.

I'm getting system 32 hal.dll file corrupted or missing please reinstall file above, there's no disk drive on this so I'm doing it through usb
I got it to work i used a different program to prep my flash drive and a different windows xp install just to be safe so thank you for all the help
