I always wondered what all the brouhaha was over these comic book conventions was. Now I don't have to wonder anymore. =;)
If this were supposedly an informative tech gallery, the replies would not be so nice... anyway, back to clicking through the images.

Even NASA wallpaper never quite did it. #21 has an *amazing* costume, and #43 is clearly faster than a speeding locomotive! I'll probably never click through an entire SS again, but I'm glad I did this one; thanks for the cheap thrill, Sonja! You rock....

I've been getting 'page not found' on other articles, too. I'm also getting 'Permission Denied' errors when trying to post replies, although they usually post on the second attempt. I'll send an offering up to the PTBs. It really helps if we sacrifice a virgin, but they're tough to find around here.
...for more years than this gallery has pictures. Trust me - Tinkerbell has never looked so good! Not bad looking for a 53 year old fairy!

What makes the subjects of these photos geeks? There's nothing about them that suggests that they have any geeky skills, knowledge or personalities.
They are attendees at a geek convention. Ergo, geeks.

I must agree that there is nothing overtly Geeky about the costumes, so I would suggest the title is a misnomer. However, despite the overall Heavy Metal ( not the music) tone, I love the pseudo leather in 11 and 19, and 23 can arrest me anytime !! And 26 blew me away since she is the image of a staff member here where I work, and I am going to have a "Ruff" time getting that costume dissociated from the image run together.

Next time I have a tough job on my hands I will consider putting on one of those - then I can be superman flying through difficult turbulence or cat woman clawing through my work or poison ivy girl - dare you interrupt me or just sexy me doing a tough job on my computer.

As one who has more interest in the Trek conventions, please cover those in a future expose'.
Hands down the most beautiful of them all. I loved her costume last year much better than her white one this year but still. WoW she has been my wallpaper all year!!!
After viewing all of them I only agree the sexiest will be this one, picture 34. It has the right figure and face! The rest of them I wouldn't comment...
