A call center agent is the person who handles incoming or outgoing customer calls for a business. A call center agent might handle account inquiries, customer complaints, or support issues. The other names for a call center agent include customer service representative, telephone sales or service representative, attendant, associate, operator, or account executive.The minimum qualification for a call center agent position is a high school diploma or equivalent. The ability to converse in languages other than English is also an added advantage.
