It was especially amusing to read this article on my dead Android tablet. One point the article is missing is that as an open system, there is a large and active community of users who are rooting their tablets to take advantage of the full power of Android while not being restricted to a particular version or a particular provider's limited app store. In my case, I rooted my HP tablet which was sold with WebOS, which by and of itself is great software. BUT with the lack of Apps and HP pulling the plug made my logical choice to move to Android. Much better option than a $500 iPad any day, thank you very much.
