As fast as this stuff is changing, putting a computer in a TV is a spectacularly bad idea. Who wants to replace their 46" LCD every 2 years when a better "computer" comes out?

I want my TV to be a dumb (but sharp) display with no real intelligence built into it. I'd rather hook up a box through the HDMI input and let the box supply whatever digital TV fad-of-the-week we are using this week. When the new fad comes out, I'll put in a new box and keep my TV.
