It's an update from 3.1.x, but its not smooth. Although the lead paragraph in the story implies otherwise, the update kills IMAP functionality in the native email app and creates some initial weirdness in either the charging cycle or the icon. It's also been very unstable on my Galaxy 10.1 - I've hard to re-boot many more times since the update then I ever had to do with the prior version.
