I am from Canada and have to travel to 90% of conferences that would benefit me. SpiceWorld 2011 in Austin was the only conference I had time for last year but this year I am going to Spiceworld in Austin and InterOp in Vegas (Next week).
At least I want to go to these places. How would it turn out having one of these large conferences up here in the winter? Vegas in May and Austin in October sound perfect to me - room service in a nice hotel far away from home, education, sun, and a little bit of fun mixed in!
