The idea behind this column is to ask for feedback and then analyze the issues that emerge from it. In this case, Scott asked for people to give their opinions on what they thought were dumb predictions and then he responded with his perspective -- some supportive, some not so much. The idea is to bat around ideas, consider implications, discuss possibilities. Like, you know, a friendly debate. You can agree/disagree with the predictions or with Scott's take on the predictions... or contribute some of your own.
