Formalised study of Business Analysis is not that new. It was originally part of IT back in the days of punched cards and tape. It was overlooked and seen as a waste of time by some ERP systems and then the IT industry turned its back on it as a waste of time. Oh how we need them, skills learned here will never fade away.
