You're not alone in wanting to avoid Facebook...some days, it feels as though I'm the only person within shouting distance who refuses to sign up for that data mining and profiling site that has more security holes in it than Swiss cheese.

Gannett, in requiring a Facebook account to make a comment on their site has clearly drawn a "digital divide" line with its users, ignoring people on our side of the line.
