Well, that's all well and good if you have 3G data coverage, and an unlimited Data plan.

It is barking madness - in a high end phone like this, 32Gb should be entry level and 64Gb be an option. Flash memory costs next to nothing for manufacturers in bulk - A 32Gb SD/SDHC is around $30 bucks retail.

Roll on the Lumia 1000, with 64Gb and a MicroSDHC slot.

Just wondering, I thought that this article will mention why we have to wait for 900 but because I didn't get any feeling about it from the article, I have to ask. Why we have to wait until Lumina 900? Why is it better than 800?

Given the current state-of-the-art and market, I find it fascinating that Nokia made the choices they did.

High-end build quality with lowball components - why? They clearly are targeting the low-end of the consumer market with this phone and the 900 as well (anyone looked at the cost of an unlocked Droid RAZR or Galaxy Nexus lately?).

It just seems like they are not really competing with Android (and, with the lowball componentry, not even close to iPhone).

I really don't understand Nokia's plan, here. Wondering how much "defiance of the MSFT hardware standards" applies here? It's like this phone was designed to barely be within that envelope. But IMHO, that's shooting themselves in the foot before they've even reached the starting gate.
