Laptops will be the first to disappear.
I would have thoough that the new WIN8 would be component/modulized to run on any of the consumer hardware be it phone, tablet, laptop, desktop.
I guess that's a little forward thinking ..... even for Microsoft, .... it's all about the almighty $$$!
