According to the link you provided this day has been moved to October 7 - I haven't found an explanation as to why.

...and in 2012 it's swinging back to the original date. Last year's change was part of a story-collection effort. If I'm wrong, somebody please tell me.
Why just Pi day? It should be it be Pi days since the value of Pi is 3.1415....

Pi days would be March 14th and 15th. Just sayin'.

2. I have a public Google calendar called "Interesting Holidays" that has several geek holidays. I believe you can see my email address in the calendar's description if you want to suggest holidays I have not added.

3. If you have the dates you want to add, especially if they are "official" days of any sort, I'll add them to the calendar.

Don't forget the day of remembrance of Saint Isidore of Seville, patron saint of of computer technicians, computer users, computers and the Internet. Also schoolchildren and students, but they aren't the point of geek holidays.

It seemed appropriate to add the patron saint of the internet to an internet-based calendar.

Geek holidays

Surely there has to be one for the day DOS was released? I can't remember when, was it something like 1 Feb 1980? That day that PCs used to default to if you screwed up the date settings.

I created a Google calendar and made it public, so anyone interested should be able to find it. I had 7 of the 20 provided by Jay already added. I added 13 more after reading this article plus one more, Wintereenmas (I love CAD), from the comments.
If you want to add it to your Google Calendar view, its name is "Interesting Holidays - US & some Intl"

And you'd think such a high-tech and trendy site TechRepublic would offer these as an ics file. Makes me question their true Geekiness!

Don't forget homage to the archetypal geek, Nikola Tesla. Tesla Day is July 10th.
