Quickbooks
His main point was about dropping info over the Internet -- set up and backed up at Quickbooks with the assistance of their techs, we have had to re-install only twice over the past five years. Still a costly nuisance. But the issue you bring up about usability is critical. It is sold as being 'intuitive'; while relatively easy to use once you memorize the strange ways lots of things are hidden or named, it is far from intuitive. Your point about you, one individual, answering 5,056 questions on the community forum is telling. Worse yet, Intuit doesn't seem to care if a question gets answered or not. You'll find dozens of questions that have been up over 12 months with lots of 'me too' comments and being answered by users experimenting and sharing 'what might possibly help' like the 'blind leading the blind'. Numerous times when Intuit has asked "What could we do better" the simply answer has been: "Have an MVP program where every question gets reviewed at least monthly with accurate answers provided".
