I wish you could provide larger, higher resolution images. I can zoom in but don't see enough detail.
This appears to be captures of web apps, not "desktop" apps. There is a "sign-in" prompt.
It would be really nice if you would include at least one view of the ribbon buttons. This minimized view of the ribbon is essentially available now using the shortcut toggle.
What happened to the application title bar where the file name is displayed? Is it "improved" away, or just truncated in the screen capture?

It doesn't look like these are web apps. The "sign-in" is most likely for syncing with SkyDrive. I agree that higher resolution would be nice.
What's the significance of the gray dot in the middle of the fourth image? What's the app in the fifth? Other than starting from tiles, what makes this version of Office different from 2010?
Pointless.

List of Apps from what I can tell are...
1. Tiles/Start Menu
2. Word
3. Excel
4. Excel
5. OneNote
6. PowerPoint

Not much of a tour, small screenshots and no explanatory text. I hate to say it, but I'm sorry I wasted my time on this one.
TR would be wise to consider eliminating any feeds they get from CNET as they usually have "negative utilitarian value" - worthless time wasters at best. This gallery is a prime example of little, or in this case, NO useful information. Someone (or "ones") at CNET are too lazy to even put captions onto their pictures. Kindergarteners will at least tell you what they are drawing for your refrigerator's art collection!
From now on, when I pull up a gallery whos title intrigues me, the first thing I will do is check the "author." If it's CNET, I'll close the window and move on.
