If you have only an associate degree and no experience, that may be why you are not getting jobs. You may want to look at volunteering at a non-profit that needs IT people. You might also want to look at getting your bachelor's degree. Many jobs today are asking for a base of a bachelor's and some experience. That said, if you are on linkedIn and are in the CompTIA groups; there are a multitude of positions being advertised for technicians with just A+ certified and associate or just the cert.
