You might want to try to get an uninstaller from the norton site, and then getting rid of norton altogether.
Try a free AV suite in stead, they're good and generally better than Norton.

Doing a system recovery resulted in going back to SP2, lost updates and SP3. All programs loaded from CD's show up on the Non-Microsoft list. When I down loaded Norton 360 it makes the Icon, installs and works fine again but i observed that any program downloaded from the Web doesn't show up in the add/remove list. Is this because I'm back to SP2 instead of SP3? Do I have to download to a CD and then install from the CD instead of letting it self install? Everything works so does it really matter? I contacted PC Planet 247 for help since I paid $149.99 but now they say they want a license number and that I'm not on the system. I gave them the PayPal info and will have to fight them to get the service I paid for, apparently. Thanks.
