I find it really interesting that you have a rule to bin resumes that include photos/DOB. You now actually are discriminating against people (that include a photo) because of your attempts not to be seen to discriminate against them (based on age).

This is real modern world stuff - so worried about being seen to do the right thing that good judgement goes out the door. Perhaps you should suggest your company reviews this policy.
