Companies pay for it.I don't mind keeping my phone on if means that more money is being "cooked" on my bank account,of course that this depends on the company that is employing you.Still it's a n under payed job in Europe.specially on Portugal.
All the topics pointed out make us IT guys feel weird and sometimes victims of the market but that's life.Better this than clean toilets!
