Multitasking, Multiprocessing, and Multi-threading used to be very popular buzzwords. But, like being at home with children, what is required is the ability to drop one job, do another, and come back to the first without having to restart it from the beginning. I think that is more multi-threading than multitasking.
Multitasking to me is taking two or three items upstairs to do something with, and bringing something else back down. Now that I am retired, by the time that I get to the top of the stairs I wonder what these items in my hand are...
But I am still happy to investigate, diagnose, and repair computers and systems.
