I don't think it's fair to single out IT as being responsible for "a lot of people who have been driven to dislike people because of IT." I have yet to have a job that didn't increase my dislike of people!

I like individuals well enough, but as Agent K says in Men in Black, "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals...." That fact gets more stark with every passing year!
