Oh Dear...
I have no do doubt that pad users will be fairly happy with this interface but the poor old desktop people will be distraught, I have been testing Win 8 for several days trying to do the things that I do from day to day just cannot operate properly without the functionality of the Start Button, what idiot decided that it should go? I see no reason why it should not be retained on the desktop. As for clicking in the corner and swiping right...words fail me.
I can understand that Microsoft wanted to produce an interface that would be common with desktops and tablets and as far as I can see they have succeeded so why make it so difficult for desktop and laptop users.
