How many hours a day do you sit in front of a computer display each day? Forty years ago (I'm 72) we were making the same kind of 'insightful' comments about computers and now you carry one in your breast pocket with a full color display that responds to spoken commands. Today's reality augmenting glasses are first-generation. Ten years from now you won't even notice that people are wearing them.
Application examples:
>Flying: (I'm a private pilot) I'll see that little speck in the sky that is an approaching aircraft,
Driving: I'll notice the vehicle pulling in from the side street, sooner.
Museums: A visual/audio tours will be much more informative.
Workplace: I'll find something in the warehouse, quicker, or be able to troubleshoot a complex object.
Improve vision of the visually impaired far beyond what simple eye glasses do today,
Look at the night sky and see what your weak insensitive eyes can not see.
It's endless! There is much more to reality than our poor weak eyes allow us to see.
