...but how about a debate on the best tools to use for servers?
WinServer2008 does a pretty good job w/ the built-in backup software.
Does anyone know of any software or procedure that would allow a remote administrator to backup a Windows (or other) server's critical system and data paritions. I am talking image backup that will result in a bootable system. Can something like Ghost be scripted to run on a server to a preintalled 'backup' drive after power down, finish and then procede to reboot the system putting it back on line? Is there any support for this with existing software? ShadowProtect? Acronis? Ghost?
