Someone needs to review the articles (other than the author) for accuracy and creditability before putting them out for public consumption. John@ and Justin James nailed it in their take on this piece of writing. It's such a "cutsie-artsie-craftsie" presentation of an obviously out of touch writer, wrapping her biased view of Apple around a real problem that's industry wide. I would imagine Apple is probably the most eco-friendly of the manufacturers of consumer electronic products since everything they do is under the microscope of the press and Apple haters. I hope this author has enough creditability and professionalism to write a "Part 2" and make amends for her short-comings in this article. Just the facts, Mam - include all offenders, not just the ones you dislike. I'm a software technical lead and have been developing for and on the Microsoft platform since Windows 3, and I'm certainly not an Apple fan boy - I just dislike inaccuracies and bias in any form.
