It's frustrating that those who couldn't do the job, are the authority to decide who is qualified to do so. I have been in the IT business for over 20 years, without college, or maintaining current certifications, and I'm as good if not better than those with all the right shingles.

But try to convey that to someone from a big college alumni with zero ability to match a candidate with a job beyond one's education.
