After several "discussions" with M$ support, which all ended with their claiming the Sudden Battery Death Syndrome on my laptop was Not Their Buggy Software's Fault (despite my asking them to Google "plugged in, not charging", I loaded WUBI which allows one to dual-boot between W7 and Ubuntu. I now have no problem when running Ubuntu but have yet to resolve the SBDS problem with M$W7. I will NOT trust another M$ product, least of all on a mobile phone, which is critical to my income.
