To everyone here Cloud = Public Cloud not a single mention of the Private Clouds that will be run by Business for their own benefit.

I partially agree that there is no likely to be as much backlash but certain practical considerations need to be taken into account:
The need to be able to work offline in situations where network connectivity is limited, too costly or none existent (e.g. trains, planes, wifi/3g not -spots).
Bandwidth considerations - while download speeds are improving, we need major investment in infrastructure (certainly in the UK) to allow reasonable upload speeds as there will always be a need to do some work on locally produced content (e.g. photos, video).
Custom considerations - most organisations and businesses will need to be able to customise something to their needs, whether an add-in, interface or custom software. While I'm sure cloud offerings will increase their flexibility, I'm not sure they're there at the moment.
