You're asking the difference between being skilled in different things, and switching between partly completed things.

Multi discipline and multi tasking have nothing to do with the other, and if you wish to argue that, think of a heart surgeon who writes code, thats multi disciplinary. Now think of a heart surgeon who writes code writing code while performing open heart surgery. Thats multi tasking.

I thought the difference would be obvious.
