Most businesses (including mine) don't include IT in the strategic planning process, hand us projects with poorly defined deliverables, and then wonder why it takes us 14 tries to finally arrive at what they want.

If there is a failure with IT, you'd better look hard at who is ACTUALLY calling the shots. 99 times out of 100 where you have some problem with IT its not IT's fault.
