It would be in order here to examine the criteria by which these determinations were made. Perhaps the organization that provided the honor was implying that corporate culture is so corrupt that even a little ethics is a very good thing indeed. The fact is that United States companies have shown themselves to be very insensitive to the masses. The cases can fill volumes but I only need address one practice both of note and inexcusable. The vast number of companies which wholesale abandoned the public for foreign slave labor is a case in point. Nevermind that United States citizens made these companies rich; the shame is that national pride had no effect on them.
