I will port my actual "Home & garden automation & surveillance" applications which are now running on a mini-ATX board with Ubuntu. These apps are actually using on a Velleman K8055 board (digital in/out, analog in/out), several Teracom TC110 & TC111 with temperature/humidity sensors & digital IO + relay to control pool temp, pump function and waterleak alarm via LAN. Comms are SNMP commands. There are also several arduinos Uno with ethernetshield and/or XBee to capture greenhouse temp/humidity and control watering. All info is gathered in a Mysql database and in real-time displayed on a webserver (Apache + Php5). Monitoring & control programs are written in C and php5. I will try out the announced Gertboard with these apps on the Raspberry. Sofar K8055, snmp package, and C control programs were ported to the Raspberry and are running in test phase.
