The green skin is OK with my but you just have way too many Gingers shown here.

And the poor girl in Photo 39 really needs a dentist NOW!

Not to mention that Poor Girl in Photo 11 not having enough money to buy the cloths necessary. Some people just need to be fully covered. laugh

Very nice. No idea what it is though.
and to the haters and negative comments: it takes far more courage to dress up in public like this (for good or bad) than it does to sit behind a keyboard and make derogatory remarks. They do it because they enjoy it much like you do the things you do because you enjoy them, even if others have no idea why.
I don't even see any "haters" or "negative comments" - just a few tongue-in cheek remarks which if you find them too barbed, well perhaps you shouldn't be out in public playing with dolls in your Darth Vader suit.

Predictable number...
...of fat nerdboys who should have moved out of their mothers' basements years ago.

Then, please refresh your memory of the definition of "negative".

have a very full life, including dressing as some science fiction or fantasy character. Sometimes their life is so intense they need the constructive outlet. Yes, I'm one of them. I've done things like EOD and hazardous waste site cleanups. Are you saying I don't have a life?

Nope, just saying you might not need to dress up :P

Seriously, if people enjoy these things more power to them!

You can dress like Storm all you want but you cant hide that Adam's apple!
Just saying, if you are goin to post pictures that clearly state copy right another person and website, at least put some comments about the pictures.

...of fat nerdboys who should have moved out of their mothers' basements years ago. But what is surprising (to me) is the large number of girls who are (a) attractive, (b) slim, and (c) not apparently being dragged along by a friend. A friend who is a boy, but not necessarily a boyfriend.

A sign of the times, I guess, is that some of the costumes (No 15 Batgirl is just one example) are - how shall I put this - "disturbingly inappropriate" happy
I agree with algreimann, a "writer" posting photos with another person/entity's clearly copyrighted tag might want to think about writing something describing the contents of the image being shown.
Certainly previous writers covering or re-showing images have made some notation about the pictures.
I commend all the folks who dress up at these conventions. Purchased costumes are fine and all, but a definite kudos to those who made their own.
