As fine a sentiment as getting more women into IT and breaking down the caste barriers is, I think the outsourcing of Aussie jobs to India is heading for a wind back and what happens if this reaction is mirrored in other countries? Locally we have a lot of agro towards companies that use Indian call centers and it's growing. Once someone starts marketing their business as truly "local" the flood gates will open up and in the cut throat business of mobile marketing where every edge is sought this will probably be irresistible.

What this will mean in India when it has an oversupply of skilled staff is anybody's guess but usually the dis-empowered lose out.
