I'm sitting at work, calmly looking for subject matter for our company blog (we post about tech news, among other things), when I come across this. Now I'm ridiculously psyched, trembling with excitement, and can't wait to start writing assembly code... What was it I was supposed to be working on?
From the way the article is written, I can't tell which is true:
-- this is a game being written for a particular but unspecified OS
-- this is a game being written for a brand-new piece of hardware
-- this is a cross-platform game that may or may not require a special hardware add-on
The big question is... is this 16-bit "processor" a physical chip, or a virtual chip that only exists in-game?

Definitely going to download an emulator and get my assembly on.
Could be worse - could be machine code. Could be virtual punch cards.
