I also killed my 3 month old phone by dropping it down the toilet... did all the things to get it dried out, and it worked fine apart from texting, which is what I use it for most of the time. I then bought a smart phone and a week later got in my car, closed the door, and as I did so the phone fell out of my pocket and managed to get caught between the door and jamb... neatly broken in half. Lesson learned, I never ever put my phone in my pocket!
