He was leaning over the edge of the dock and his BB slipped out of his chest pocket and into the lake. It was down there for about 2 minutes before he managed to find it deep in the mud, about 4 feet deep in the water.

It actually still works fine, the track ball thingy isn't very sensitive anymore, but that's about it.
