Only the global versions have the quad core processor. The LTE version has a dual core processor. Please see: http://www.htc.com/www/smartphones/htc-one-x/#specs

@ Bill Detwiler
I hate having to click 64 times to get the review of a teardown. I understand that it generates a significant amount of ad revenue, but it is inconvenient and at times irritating. I know I am not the only one to complain about the current format Techrepublic is using as I have seen similar comments on a number of Techrepublics reviews and teardowns. Can you please talk to the powers that be an see if there is something that can be done?

So irritating I often just skip the whole article............
Trust me, I share your pain. For years, I and other TechRepublic editors have lobbied for a new gallery player that wouldn't require a complete page refresh to load each new photo. This would also allow us to embed the gallery into a related article. Hopefully, we'll get this soon.

Heres a great teardown video that goes all the way through the steps to completely disassemble it and replaced the integrated screen. It's pretty long, but its thorough!
