When I discovered that the example files were in a zip file, I stopped the download and didn't read the article. I don't want to save it, find it on my hard drive, unzip it, then open two files. Too many steps for something I'm just mildly interested in. Just give me 2 pdf files next time, please.

Useless

The makeover is not proving anything. Another "expert perception" on how a resume should be. Prospective employers are not ready to read your resume story, and wouldn't take the pains to understand how your career bloomed. They are only after skills, looks where you work and then your phone rings

Hi emgub,
I agree that prospective employers aren't going to read the whole resume the first time through. Most don't do so until you're there for the interview. However, aside from HR folks, IT decision makers do read some material from each resume to decide which candidates they have an interest in. The whole point is to steer the reader to the information you want them to know most about you. For an IT project manager, that should be some of the key projects you worked on and the value you brought to the organization. If the resume is structured properly and written well, you can achieve this within the 30-second review time that's typical for hiring managers.
Great Resume!
Got a job offer, was asked to change by recruiter. After using similar structure helped me to secure 120K job.

Thanks happy
